Helen has ten years teaching experience, predominantly within complex needs settings. She has worked as a full-time class teacher as well as undertaking a range of wider leadership responsibilities; supporting both pupils and staff to achieve positive outcomes. Helen has extensive experience of working closely with parents and carers to understand individual needs, overcome barriers and promote pupils’ progress, wellbeing and engagement in education. Her experience also includes sharing expertise, providing practical guidance and developing effective strategies to promote inclusion and strengthen provision, both within her own team, and across other schools. Helen brings extensive classroom, leadership and outreach experience, ensuring pupils receive the right support to thrive.
